Just Like AZ, Missouri Looking To Mandate Ignition Interlocks
The Phoenix DUI Blog, February 25, 2010Missouri House Bill 1804, which was proposed by Rep. Jeanne Kirkton (D-Webster Groves) is just now starting to get off the ground. It has the support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). The bill would prevent DWI offenders from driving while under the influence. It would be mandatory for those with even one DWI conviction to have the ignition interlock system installed in the vehicle.

Missouri Selected to Participate in Safe Routes to School State Network Project
PedNet, February 1, 2010The Missouri Foundation for Bicycling and Walking is pleased to announce that the Safe Routes to School National Partnership selected Missouri to participate in the 2010 and 2011 phase of the State Network Project. Nineteen states and the District of Columbia were chosen to participate in this project, which is being funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
